How To Use
- Use only according to the dose prescribed by your doctor; insulin doses are individualized according to blood-glucose readings and treatment needs.
- NovoMix 30 is generally injected immediately before a meal; the product information states that it may be given soon after a meal when necessary.
- Before injection, properly resuspend the insulin according to the FlexPen instructions until it appears uniformly white, cloudy and aqueous.
- Use a new needle for every injection and never share the pen or needles.
- Inject under the skin as instructed by your healthcare professional; do not inject into a vein or muscle and do not use it in an insulin infusion pump.
- Rotate injection sites to help reduce skin changes.
