How To Use
Take Vyas 50mg exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The appropriate dose is individualized according to the indication, response, age, and other medical factors.
For ADHD, the current prescribing information lists 30mg once each morning as the usual starting dose, with adjustments of 10mg or 20mg at approximately weekly intervals; the maximum recommended dose is 70mg once daily. For adult binge-eating disorder, the starting dose is also 30mg each morning, with titration toward 50–70mg daily when appropriate.
- Take the capsule orally, usually in the morning.
- Swallow it with water.
- Do not take more than the prescribed amount.
- Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.
- Take it at approximately the same time each day.
- Lisdexamfetamine is not indicated for weight loss.
- Patients with severe kidney impairment may require a lower maximum dose.
